Questions are part of the process. Here you'll find answers to the most common questions about the B.L.U.E. Method, the framework, and what working with your nervous system actually looks like.
No. However, the fastest way to know if this work speaks to something real for you.
If it does, the $27 mini-course is the natural next step.
No. The B.L.U.E. Method™ is a somatic education framework, not a clinical or therapeutic program.
That said, both Susan and Dee bring deep practitioner experience to this work. Susan Blue is a licensed somatic therapist — Craniosacral Therapist, Somatic Trauma Resolution, Trauma Informed Care — who sees clients in private practice and supports the deeper therapeutic dimensions of this work.
Dee Kinsey brings deep somatic processing experience and body-based meridian work through Jin Shin Jyutsu, supporting the nervous system regulation and pattern work that sits at the heart of the framework.
If you are looking for direct one-on-one therapeutic support with Susan, her private practice information is on the Contact page.

No. You don't need any experience with somatic work, nervous system regulation, mindfulness, or personal development. The mini-course and foundational series were created as an entry point. We start with simple experiences, not complex concepts, and build understanding from there. The goal isn't to become an expert—it's to begin developing a relationship with your own body, awareness, and inner experience.
The difference is the container.
Self-paced learning can provide knowledge and awareness. The immersive provides the support, accountability, and shared experience that allow that awareness to become embodied.
You are not navigating your patterns alone. You are witnessed, supported, and guided as they arise in real time. The live cohort creates opportunities for reflection, connection, and learning that simply cannot be replicated through recorded content.
And then there is the retreat.
The retreat offers something rare: enough time, space, and nervous system safety for the body to settle and complete what the work has been preparing it for. It is where understanding becomes experience, and experience becomes lasting change.
The immersive is not just a course. It is an environment designed to support transformation.
The courses provide the understanding. One-on-one work provides the experience.
Many of the concepts taught in the B.L.U.E. Method™ are best understood through direct experience in the body. While the courses help you recognize patterns, understand nervous system responses, and learn the framework, individual sessions allow you to develop a felt sense of what you're learning.
In a one-on-one setting, you receive personalized guidance as activation, patterns, and nervous system responses arise in real time. Rather than simply understanding the concepts intellectually, you experience them directly in your own body.
This combination of understanding and experience often accelerates learning and helps the work become more integrated and embodied.
The courses teach the framework. One-on-one work helps bring it to life.
Many approaches focus on changing thoughts, beliefs, behaviors, or circumstances. While those approaches can be valuable, they often begin with the mind and ask the body to follow.
The B.L.U.E. Method™ begins with the body.
We recognize that many of the patterns that shape our lives operate below conscious awareness. They live in the nervous system and are expressed through sensation, emotion, impulses, reactions, and relationship dynamics long before the thinking mind becomes aware of them.
Rather than focusing primarily on analysis, insight, or problem-solving, the B.L.U.E. Method™ helps you develop awareness of what is happening in your body, work directly with nervous system activation, and create the conditions for patterns to update through lived experience.
This is not about fixing yourself. It is not about becoming someone new.
It is about developing a relationship with yourself that allows old patterns to unwind, new possibilities to emerge, and more of who you already are to become available.
Difficult emotions, sensations, or memories can arise whenever we begin paying closer attention to ourselves. This is a natural part of becoming more aware of patterns that may have been operating outside of conscious awareness.
The B.L.U.E. Method™ is not about forcing these experiences to the surface or reliving the past. Instead, we focus on developing the capacity to stay present with what is arising in the moment, while remaining connected to the body, the breath, and current-time safety.
Participants are always encouraged to move at their own pace. You are never required to share personal experiences, revisit painful memories, or engage with anything that feels beyond your capacity in the moment.
The goal is not to overwhelm the nervous system. The goal is to build a relationship with it.
As your capacity grows, experiences that once felt overwhelming can often be met with greater awareness, choice, and self-compassion. The work is not about what happened to you. It is about supporting your nervous system in how it responds now.
