Alongside her individual practice, Dee co-created The B.L.U.E. Method™ — a somatic education framework that guides people through breath, body awareness, and an understanding of the nervous system. Offered as foundational courses and workshops, the curriculum builds progressively from understanding your nervous system through to working with deep-rooted patterns in relationship and daily life.
Dee's work is a natural and powerful. Whether you're new to somatic processing or deepening an existing practice, she offers a grounded, compassionate entry point into understanding yourself at a new level.
Somatic Practitioner and Educator, Jin Shin Jyutsu Practitioner
For as long as I can remember, I've experienced people differently. I could sense how someone was doing long before they ever spoke about it. When people enter my space, I naturally feel beyond what they show on the surface and connect with something deeper.
I've never been particularly interested in the roles people play, the masks they wear, or the ways they present themselves to the world.
I didn't choose this way of seeing; it is simply how I've moved through the world. Over time, it became the thread connecting my personal journey, my professional leadership, and ultimately the work I do today.
Those instincts followed me throughout my life and career. As a leader, mentor, coach, and program manager, I found the most rewarding part of my work wasn't the projects themselves—it was helping people grow, navigate challenges, discover their potential, and succeed in ways they hadn't imagined. At the same time, my own healing journey led me into the study of nervous system regulation, somatic awareness, mindfulness, and Jin Shin Jyutsu.
Today, I bring these experiences together through teaching, facilitation, and one-on-one work. Whether I'm working with an individual, a group, or an organization, my focus remains the same—to help people reconnect with themselves, move beyond patterns that no longer serve them, and discover new possibilities for how they live, lead, and relate to the world around them.
At the heart of everything I do is a simple belief:
We are not broken.
We are adaptive.
And when we learn to listen differently, we can find our way home to ourselves.
Dee works with people living in a state of activation — whether that shows up as chronic pain, anxiety, depression, overwhelm, or a persistent sense of disconnection from themselves.
She has a particular attunement to corporate burnout, veterans and first responders: people whose nervous systems have been shaped by sustained stress and whose patterns have been reinforced by environments that required constant readiness. What she offers is not another performance to manage. It is a felt experience of settling.
Many of her clients come after years of searching. They understand their patterns. They have done the work. What they find with Dee is something different: a direct, embodied relationship with their own nervous system. The recognition that their reactions aren't who they are —they're what the nervous system learned in order to survive.
Dee Kinsey has spent most of her adult life at the intersection of high performance and deep personal work — building careers, earning credentials, and developing real, hard-won self-understanding. And for a long time, doing all of it while quietly carrying the gap between what she knew about herself and what her body kept doing anyway.
That gap is what brought her here. She grew up in environments that required her to be attuned — to read the room, stay ahead of moods, and make herself useful before she was asked. That kind of hypervigilance doesn’t feel like a strategy when you’re developing it. It feels like just how things are. It was only much later, looking back, that she could see how completely it had shaped her — the way she moved through relationships, the way she worked, the way she measured whether she deserved to be somewhere.
She left home as a teenager. Built stability from the ground up. Taught herself to read through spiritual self-help books in her early twenties. Got the degree, got the certifications, got the career — and kept noticing that none of it touched the thing she was actually trying to solve. The exhaustion didn’t lift. The patterns kept running. The equation of ‘if I do enough, I’ll deserve to be here’ kept failing to balance.
She tried the approaches. Therapy, EMDR, hypnosis — each one useful, none of them reaching the place where the pattern actually lived. She moved through network chiropractic, yoga philosophy, Science of Mind, a Joe Dispenza phase, and out of it. She kept arriving at the same edge:
The shift came not from a new modality but from a different kind of encounter with an existing one — Dr. Tad (organiclivingchiropractic.com) who refused to do the work for her. Who held conditions instead of fixing. Who made it clear, session by session, that the healing was hers to do. That reorientation — away from looking outside and toward working with what was actually inside — is what everything since has been built on.
She met Susan Blue. Found in her practice, the same orientation. Was introduced to Jin Shin Jyutsu.
The B.L.U.E. Method™ is her attempt, with Susan, to make that landing more accessible — a framework that gives people a way back to themselves.
She writes and teaches the curriculum. She is still in the work. She does not speak from a place of having arrived.
